TRUE SHORT STORY Co-Founder & CEO of BoomYEAH, Inc. I would like to share with you a brief story that I heard from a friend. The story plays an intricate role in the success of BoomYEAH and most importantly the success of our long-term friends and colleagues...our clients.

There once was a businessman who explained the difference between two soft drinks. They both tasted the same. The only difference was their brand identity. One soft drink spent very little, if no money at all, on their brand theme, whereas the other was well known by the consumer, due to the billions they spent on marketing communications. The plain average soft drink was sold for fifty cents a can, while the creative sold for over a dollar a can. Both beverages ventured out to similar markets globally, where after all variables considered, the creative captured most of the market and claimed victorious. What was the brand name of the creative soft drink? "Coca Cola®." Even though they both tasted the same and the other cost less, Coca Cola® dominated the market, due to customer loyalty, brand marketing and the familiar appearance of Coca Cola®.

When I heard this story, I asked myself, "Why did the plain beverage company not consider investing in building a professional brand identity?" It appeared to me that they just could not afford it. That is when I had a vision to utilize the power of today's Internet technology and provide a cost effective, professional branding service where the small guy can achieve victory too!   - Michael Choi
